Thank you for all the prayers and support!

Although we didn’t get the news that we hoped for, we just want to let everyone know how thankful and appreciative we are for all of the prayers and support. In the last couple weeks, we truly have realized how blessed we are to have so many caring people in our lives. Our family, friends, co-workers and communities have blown us away by their generosity and willingness to support us in so many different ways. So many people have reached out to us and we ask that you continue to pray for our sweet little boy and for our family in the months to come. Just knowing that there are so many caring people out there will help our family make it through this very difficult time. Again, thank you!

On another note, we just want to give you a quick update on Bryce. We have been at home the last few days and our biggest struggle has been getting him to eat enough throughout the day. We met with a GI doctor on Monday and have decided that it would be best for Bryce to get a G tube (feeding tube) so we know that he is getting the nutrition he needs. This surgery will be taking place tomorrow morning at St. Mary’s Hospital and is expected to take less than 20 minutes to complete. We will be spending the night there so the doctors can monitor everything for awhile. Though he is getting this tube, we plan to feed him by mouth as much as possible and will use it to give him the extra calories he needs.

We had a chance to talk with Dr. Flynn (doctor in Green Bay) today and by Friday we will be implementing his plan. He continues to give us some hope. We will keep you updated and fill you in more on this at a later time.

Again, thank you for your continuous love and support. We hope to find some time tomorrow to do another update on the status of Bryce’s surgery. Please continue to pray for him and our family.

Love, Kyle & Jenna
